A friend I've known for 20+ years is a much better painter than I. He recently finished two US Hobbies pulpwood cars for me. They're not 100% correct, but close to some of the pulpwood cars Frisco used in the '50s. He had to make the decals or use stuff from data sheets. They came out pretty nice. The British scout car is just there to have something on the car 'til I make loads. Paul Moore
My grandfather was a lineman on the Frisco and then on the QA&P. My mom was born in Springfield, MO, where he was stationed with the Frisco. She spent most of her life in Quanah, where he was a division lineman for the QA&P. I've still got his railroad pass and several other pieces of Frisco memorabilia. I'll scan them soon and upload them to a different thread. The next step is to find an affordable piece of Frisco O scale motive power and come up with some kind of caboose. The caboose may have to be a generic caboose that is painted and detailed to some extent to look like Frisco (most likely a wood steam era caboose) In addition to the pulpwood cars, I've got several freight cars that will work on the Frisco. Thanks for the kind comments! Paul Moore
