Not directly Frisco related but here's my O scale power for my sawmill scene. The lumber will be transported to the Frisco main line via a logging tram. Just wanted to share a pic or two. [IMG]

Looks like your off and running Jim. I bet it had a lot of detail parts too

Thanks guys and yes, lots of detail parts but it was easier to build than my HO scale version. O scale is much easier to work with for me.

Thanks guys. Tonight I built the roof and added some last minute details. A shot of dull finish really made it look better. I want this to represent a fairly new engine so I'll add a small amount of weathering. I wish I could find a source for the decals for this. I'll post another pic after I finish. Man, I just love those old steam contraptions what with all the piping and complicated do-dads and what not.

    Jim -
Well done, looks terrific! I can only imagine what it must have been to see (and hear) these things puffing, chuffing and clanking as it worked its way across a field. Wow! I wonder how big of a space was required to turn this thing around?

Thanks, Ken. I would hate to parallel park one of those! I've watched some neat videos on you tube showing these restored beasts in action. It would be fun to add sound to my sawmill scene with the steam engine chugging along and the sound of logs buzzing along the saw blades.
