Northern Division - 1982

    After much debate, Rick McClellan has decided to fast forward from 1978 to 1982. Here are some pictures.

    Hey Rick. Watch out your layout is getting attacked by a monster! :p

    I wonder what an F45 would look like in O&W.

    I agree with Ethan or maybe that is some sort of black and green fungus infestation of your layout.

    That black and green fungus can be eradicated with a liberal application of steam! :D

    It shouldn't take long for the Frisco to repaint those units post acquiring the BN.:)

    The last "green weenie" locomotive to invade my layout got its comeuppance- I stripped off the paint job with 91% isopropyl alcohol. After detailing, repainting and decaling, it will be a proper Frisco engine.

    Only thing I liked about BN in that era was all those SD40-2s, GP9s and GP20s of the hi-and lo-nose variety I saw & shot in Afton & Hugo.
