Good Evening/Morning all, My name is Raymond W Hamm, some of you might know me from my posts on other groups for the MKT, but I have always had an interest in the FRISCO. Currently, I am planning to build an N Scale Layout in and 11' x 14' room (4' x 11') based off the old ATSF CO& (Clinton Oklahoma & Western) from Clinton, OK to Hammon, OK (including a portion of the old MKT NW Branch to serve the grain elevator in Hammon). Also, cashing in on the Fracking phenomenon in western OK and northern TX, my railroad has had an increase in carloading of Frac Sand and a small amount of outbound oil. Primary traffic of course is grain, including aggregates and some ag products. This is where I may upset some FRISCO modelers, the name of the shoreline, the Atlantic & Pacific Railroad LLC (holding company of 6 shortlines in the US), using FRISCO's final color scheme with A&P lettering. If I remember right the FRISCO and ATSF both ended up splitting up the A&P becoming parts of the Avard Sub if I remember history right. Well that's my story as to why I am here. So glad to meet y'all and look forward to interesting finds and info shared.
Welcome aboard, Raymond. I think we're pretty hard to upset around here and your project sounds cool. Be sure to post pics as you progress. We need more N scale folks.
