Hi everyone! My name is Mitch and I'm from the St. Louis area. I'm currently finishing college in Kentucky and may be returning to StL for work after graduation this May. I grew up in South County St. Louis just a few miles from the old MoPac and Frisco lines and always enjoyed watching trains as a kid. I've gotten into modeling as of late too. I look forward to discussions about, and gaining more knowledge on, the Frisco-it's a very unique railroad with a strong character that I like learning about. Thanks for having me!
Welcome to the Frisco website Mitch!!! What scale do you model and do you have a layout? If you have a layout please start a build thread and show us your progress. There are several build threads going that could be of interest to you. A great group of members here that will support you all the way and can answer any questions you may have. Hi Joe! So while I own a lot of equipment in HO, I'm currently starting an N-scale layout (my first, I've generally just been a club fiend in the recent past) in my college apartment. It has to be tiny, so it's a pretty straightforward plan and setup, but I'll absolutely be sure to check out the build thread. I'll also be sure to post updates as I go. Thanks for the tip!
