I bought this engine from another Model Railroad in Metairie about eight years ago, but it took me this long to get it ready for the layout with the decoder installed. He was going to paint it for the TPMP terminal in New Orleans and I told him you simply cannot repaint a Frisco locomotive , it’s just wrong in the world to do that. I’ll buy it from you and you get another engine to repaint, some road that doesn’t matter like the New York Central or somebody up east. . He never did of course but I did save the Frisco locomotive and now I have a fine one for my layout.

That looks like the Proto 2000 Heritage Series 0-6-0. That locomotive is a very nice runner. It is the same as the locomotive that I ran at Rick McClellan's layout during my first ever operating session on March 21, 2009.
I have the 3801 and 3803 with SoundTraxx sound I installed.
