Howdy all. Sorry, I am terrible at introductions. For all my life I have lived within spitting distance of a Frisco Line. Got my first kick of railroading in Neosho, MO. Spent my first years chasing KCS and 'Santa Fe' trains there. Moved to Joplin, and am in awe over the derelict Union Station. Moved to Kansas City for Civil Engineering School and enjoyed visting the magnificently restored station and science center. Now I'm in Bentonville, and as a part of the Roger's city bond program, our company is working closely with the Arkansas and Missouri railroad. I have attached an image that I published that is publicly available. (Overviewing the projects all along the ex-Frisco line) As a side note, the late Rogers station is pending Demolition.
Hi Mitch, welcome to the Frisco website!!! My mom, dad, younger brother and I lived in Neosho from 1961 to 1967. We lived in the country about five miles to the Northeast and then moved into town on Vine Street right above the football field. What years did you live there? It would be funny if we lived in the same house. In 1967 we moved to the Tulsa area and now my wife, Cynthia and I live in Broken Arrow with our two dogs. My mom and dad live in Lakeland Florida for the last several years. Joe
Hey Joe. We lived behind the highschool for the first two years of my life. We moved to a different house in 1996. Hahaha
Mitch, Welcome Aboard. Based on what you are involved with, I assume you know our own stevem (Steve Marquess) in Bentonville.
Actually, I haven't! I'm a recent graduate on the civil side of the project, so I haven't worked closely with architects at this point.
