Since I've resized my layout plans, I've wound up with a space that I'm not sure what to do with it. Originally it was used for Cherokee, KS with an entrance to a portion of the Parsons Sub. With the reduction in space, I don't really have room for the Parsons Sub now, so I have space I'm trying to decide what to do with it. Essentially its between Ft.Scott/Springfield and Tulsa, so I could feasibly model anything on the Afton, Springfield or Cherokee subs. I do have one idea to model the Port of Catoosa area, but I'm looking for other suggestions. For reference, this is for an HO scale layout set roughly in 1980. I've got 3 different stretches that are roughly 20', 22' and 24' long and all 2' deep to use.
