I recently attended the excellent MP and Frisco Convention in Fort Smith. Our train trip on the A&M on Saturday Oct 12 went from Van Buren to Winslow (?), but I am not sure of the final destination. Does anybody know if Winslow would have been the final destination before our return to Van Buren. We had fine presentations on the Frisco and MoPac at the convention. Thanks. John
John: If you passed through a tunnel, then the train reversed direction and you passed back through the same tunnel in the opposite direction: You went to Winslow. No tunnel, no Winslow. (Only other option used to be Van Buren to Chester and return.) Andre
Andre--Thank you for your prompt reply! Yes, we did go thru a tunnel so that must have been Winslow (shortly after the tunnel) where the train reversed direction. I am a mileage collector so I like knowing the exact route which we rode on.--John
