Tonight I'm watching a video called "Trains Across the Midwest, Vol 4". One section of it is on the Wisconsin Northern, which runs ex-Frisco GP15-1s, complete with gyralite nose notches, sans gyralites. Good to see some Frisco stuff still in recent use. |-|
I just found this on YouTube - Frisco around Claremore, OK in 69-70. Great video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b073H6Qz18g
Thats a great video! It does look like something I would have done in my youth- not getting a shot complete! But, we still do have it, and thats all that matters. I watched the video of the 1522's last trip in 2002. It brought back great memories. My wife, grandson and I rode from St. Louis to Newburg on the @9th- my birthday. No better present was ever given!
