A few day's ago I posted Mike Condren's Frisco diesel website. Well, I found a more complete website also about the Frisco RR. This link provides information on non-locomotive subjects and steam locomotives. Here is the URL: http://condrenrails.com/frisco.html George
Glenn, good catch. I've moved this into the following: The Interchange -->> Links. George, thanks for the heads-up. I've visited Dr. Condren's site many times in the past. I had thought it was in here somewhere in the Links Forum, but I didn't immediately find it. Best Regards,
Dr. Condren has moved to Muskogee, OK and is teaching there. In August he came to Tulsa and gave a magnificant powerpoint presentation on the Frisco. He is a very friendly and captivating person.
I was able to open everything I clicked on. I accessed the site from the above link. I can't help as to the computer issues tho'.
Terry...in order to figure out what issue you might be having, I need to know what OS you use and what BROWSER (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) you are using. Please paste the url of one of the specific pages with which you are having problems as well. thanks Rancho Bob (Buck)
Terry, first of all, are you going to the right site: www.condrenrails.com/frisco.html There are no links down the left side of the page; they are interspersed all over the page. Everything is working on the site. What operating system are you using and what browser? Windows/Internet Explorer?
When you get the little star with the clicking noise, it's nanny state Internet Explorer telling you that it's blocking it. Next time you click on it, hold the CTRL key down and click, then it will let you in.
I think you need to alter your Win 7 / IE security settings. You apparently left the "nag" turned on. Plenty of forums will tell you how to do that with an ez Google search. Wish you would take a screenshot of the offending page and post it. Buck
