Merry Christmas everyone! I found Santa and a couple of his helpers getting on some power for a Santa train earlier today.

Imaginative stuff, there Tom! Preiser seems to make the best proportioned, most delicately formed figures out there. Almost all of their figures hold up well, even with close-up photography such as above. I'm hoping to find goodly selections of figures appropriate for my era of choice without having to resort to the clunky cast metal figures that seem to predominate my chosen era. A bit late, but I'll go ahead and post a Christmas card, even if it does pale by comparison to Tom's! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and were able to spend time with your families. As for me, ours was super. I'm finishing out my excess 2017 vacation time this week... so no work until Jan 2. Now how cool is that??? Andre
I remember when I was working at Boeing, we had the time off between Christmas Eve and January 2nd. The whole plant shut down during this period of time. Always enjoyed the time off. Joe
Our company changed our vacation policy to use it or loose it so I have been off 19 days and still of til 2nd. I will need bigger pants before I can go back. Ha
My wife has been thoroughly enjoying the University of Mo. campus shutdown during this same period. Even our teens have enjoyed having her around. A belated Merry Christmas and best wishes for a safe and prosperous New Year.
