Thanks to the wife of my Edward Jones rep, Bridgette (Riley) Mitchell, I have items from her grandfather's (William (Bill) Henry Riley) collection to share that I have scanned.
Bill Riley and his son Thomas Riley both worked for the Frisco out of Memphis.

Attached is a listing of Memphis Industries served by the Frisco listed alphabetically and by numeric code.

Keith, thanks very much for acquiring/posting. Do you or anyone else know the era/time frame for this?

I'm also wondering if there were any ties between the Hungerford Lumber Co. listed, and Clark Hungerford? Not a terribly common name.

    Best Regards,

Unfortunately, there was no date information on the sheet.

Never the less, it will provide a lot of information on what types of cars could go from Wichita to Springfield and beyond. I love it.

The Memphis list brought back some memories. I was a chemical salesman in 1970-1971, based in St Louis. Memphis was in my territory and I had a lot of customers there. I used to call on some of the firms on the list.

As far as the date of this listing form, I'll say it is prior to my time in Memphis, 1970-71, but obviously after Tennessee Yard was opened, replacing most of Yale Yard. When was Tennessee Yard first opened?

There are some firms I called on that were located in a new industrial park close to Tennessee Yard that are not on this list. I seem to recall seeing the Frisco switch that complex. That's why I think the timing of the list is prior to my time running down to Memphis. I was in Memphis and surrounding areas every four-six weeks. Used to take people to lunch at "Justines" and "The Three Lanterns". Wonder if they are still there.

While in Memphis for the 1980 FMIG meeting, I took son Kurt over to that industrial park to show him some of the customers the old man used to call on. Caused us to be late for the Tennessee Yard tour that morning which resulted in a delay. I was quite embarrassed and Kurt was upset as he wanted to see the locomotives, not customer buildings! We did have a good tour and visit though. That was a good meeting.
