  2. While looking for something else entirely, I came across this webpage which quotes the December 1924 Frisco Employe's Magazine in saying that Callan, Texas, was the highest point on the Frisco system.

    The elevation appears to be 2011 feet above sea level: http://texas.hometownlocator.com/tx/menard/callan.cfm

    Callan was between Brady and Menard, on the far southwest "tail" of the Frisco system. This branch was sold to the AT&SF in 1937.
