Manufactured N Scale Releases

Atlas announced today 2-bay PS-2 covered hoppers in 3 road numbers in Frisco paint.

At least in later years, Frisco used cars in this number series for sand service

That is very nicely done. Note to self: more time needed on this thread.

 

I was looking over the Manufactured Releases matrix this morning and was wondering if there have been any new releases since the MicroTrains 50' boxcar on August 1st, 2015. The road number is 13043 and the P/N is 038-00-530.

Charlie's newsletter shows some preorder announcements but no recent releases.

If you know of any changes please contact me so I can update the matrix. A year of no releases is not very good.

That's quite a list Charlie!!! How many do you have now? You have a few that are not on my releases matrix.

I estimate that you have 94% of the items that have been released. Great job on your collection and roster!!!

The last freight cars I got was the MicroTrains tank cars but I had to return them to the Ebay seller because they were damaged. I'm having trouble finding replacements.

Atlas announced today USRA double sheathed boxcars in QAP paint in two numbers:

These are the first QA&P cars I remember seeing in N-scale.

Bluford shops is showing in production N Scale 30'6" 2-Bay Panel Side Hoppers. This appeared in the new MR, but it looks like pre-orders have already closed....

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet.

On 12/30/2016, Micro-Trains announced they will release SW1500s in Frisco Orange and White paint in two road numbers (325 and 351).

The release date is going to be February 2018.

They also indicate this group of SW1500s (12 road names in total ) is likely to be the last produced.
