Hate to see a lot of Frisco stuff on the sale and clearance lists! Though we will enjoy the bargains short term, it might mean they had trouble selling Frisco items and thus might not want to do more SLSF.

We had that problem with the Athearn Genesis F3's - they made a lot of them, and it took a long time to move them out. You still see a lot of unused ones on the various lists and on eBay. I understand that put a bias in Athearn's mind about doing Genesis Frisco F7's. Too bad for us!

You are right about that, Ken. I wouldn't have to convert any of my F3s to F7s if they had sold them. Terry

They always have sales like that...I don't think it's such a bad thing. I mean the list of stuff in this week sale is like 36 pages.

I have found that Wholesale Trains is about as cheap a place to buy from regularly, but these sale prices are fantastic. I have three engines reserved (two Frisco GP15s and a BNSF SD70ACe all dcc) because they were so much cheaper than the other suppliers I have used. The only issue I had with them was a ridiculous backorder shipment that cost more in shipping than the item cost. I let them know I didn't want them shipping any more back orders to me. Thanks, Terry

I agree about the backorders...I have thought about seeing if they could hold items until multiple are ready to ship.
