Thanks for letting me join! My great grandfather worked for Frisco in the early 1900’s. My family lived in the Valley Park area starting around 1865. I’m trying to find history of Wapelhorst, Veith, Stahl families. I know a bit about them from stories my Dad told - he was Valley Park High class of 50. They lived next to Sacred Heart Church (house was torn down) - so of course the railroad was a big part of their life.
