www.abebooks.com has a number of dealers offering LQs. Prices vary from $9.00 for a single issue to $500.00 for a set of 52 issues! Also check out www.carstensbookstore.com for more new LQs priced at $13.50 each! Go to "Other Railroad Publications" in the left hand sidebar and then enter the LQ section.

    You're quite welcome Charlie!

It is a pity that LQ was discontinued. It was a high quality ad free publication. I always thought that advertising should have been solicited and included with subscriptions in the form of a flyer to help offset the costs of printing. With the cost of paper and everything else involved in publishing increasing every time a full moon rises this would have been a sound way to generate any additional financing required without harming the quality of the publication itself.

With Kansas City publisher White River Productions fast becoming the leader in high quality books, magazines and historical society publications they would be the most likely candidate to undertake such a project to revive LQ! A set of "coffee table" album size books on the Frisco sure would be a welcomed sight as well! A "Twofer" would cover the Frisco as it should be....Southeast....Southwest!
