Thanks to Jeff Cooney, who put me in touch with one of his long-time friends, I was able to acquire the wax sealer from Lockwood, MO. Years ago, I bought the die from the ticket validater from Lockwood. In an email exchange, Jeff's friend wondered how long it had been since these to items had been in the same building.

Today they are together again. It's a special treat, since I spent a lot of time in that depot while waiting for 107/108.

    Thanks Jeff

My assortment of Lockwood accoutrements amounts to exactly one item: a rail cut-off that one/both of my brothers liberated from the depot a LONG time ago. It's been following me around for something like 45 years now. Karl's are much cooler and easier to transport.

I am quite sure that I've seen that Lockwood ticket validator, loaded with Karl's die, through the depot's bay window sitting next to the telegraph equipment.
