The April 2015 Railroad Model Craftsman features an article on modeling the Lenexa Grain and Feed Elevator (along the Frisco, of course). The article is the RMC/Dremel Kitbashing Award article on page 90. The elevator, built in 1917, apparently still stands. This is quite a nice article, and describes a number of modeling techniques which could be applied to similar structures.
