Mine arrived today...the fastest I have received an item from eBay.

Set it next to my Genesis F-3s, the differnce in paint is astounding!

Whereas the Athearn units are "golden-yellow" in appearance, the IM unit is "Screamin' Yellow." More like the set of Stewarts I had at one time.

Oh well, I guess the FP-7 spent a lot of time in Texas and Western Oklahoma and got sun-bleached!

Glenn - Also note they didn't bother to do the dark green anti-glare panel on the nose, plus, like Stewart, the lettering font is a bit too thick. And - how do you like those w/s wipers?

Otherwise, I don't think it is a bad unit. The yellow will look better if you set it next to some P2K FA's. And, it runs very well. And, correctly, it does not have d/b.

I have a FA/FB set of them, as well as a custom painted FB and I must say that the yellow that PK2 used is very light.

Actually, I gave it a test run and put it back in the box. Now, I'll have to check out the w/s wipers!

I agree with your other comments about the paint.

And, it sure is LOUD! I guess the mfrs don't know some of us have small(er) layouts!

Except for maybe one more Baldwin, I think I'm through buying locos. Of course I said this last year, and 2008, 2007, 2006...1959!
