    Folks.

Have started laying benchwork over my workbench for the 29th Street Interlocking area in Kansas City, MO. It will eventually include a connection to the Fairgrounds Branch along with a stub-end MKT Glen Park Yard connection and KCUS/19th Street Yard staging.

Meanwhile, the next phase will include Rodney Milling Company as the centerpiece.

I'm hoping that someone has a general idea of the amount of traffic generated in the early to mid-1940s; however, I'd settle for 1950s or whatever I can find. Hard data would be preferred but good, well-articulated conjecture would be welcomed as well.

    R. L. Faubion Tank Company will also be included, along with one or two of the oil companies sandwiched between the mainline and Southwest Blvd., but I'm presuming that they'll be less significant as a traffic source and, therefore, a source of operational fun.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best Regards,

Oh yes, and for those unfamiliar with the era, here are some photos that Tom Holley has shared of this area.

    Where are these photos from?
