I am "A Frisco man". If you live in Springfield, MO you know what that means. I worked as a machinist in the Frisco Diesel Shop in Springfield 13 years. Became a supervisor, transferred to Minneapolis. Became an assistant general foreman, general foreman. Transferred to the BN Technical Training Center in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City) as assistant manager of technical training (locomotives). Moved to the BNSF Argentine locomotive shop in Kansas City, KS. Retired as manager of the BNSF Kansas City Locomotive Reliability Center. I've worked on the railroad ALL the live long day and most of my life. And I liked most of it, some not so much. Retirement works for me. Now I fish, hunt, smoke killer BBQ, judge BBQ contests, and anything else I can get into that's fun. I have a little train set I play with.
