Does anybody have any information on the history of these heavyweight passenger cars? It would be nice to know more about their significance. They are sitting outside the relocated Jenks, OK depot, in poor condition, and are scheduled to be scrapped soon by the City of Jenks. A contract has been let for Ark Wrecking to scrap them and demolish the station, which is of MP or MV (Midland Valley) heritage. My understanding is that there were once plans to convert the station and cars to a rail museum but the City has given up on them. I'll try to get some photos up soon of the cars.
