I have seen the 2 that LL Proto 2000 put out and at one time I had the set, but never this road name and number.
That is a beauty. Sometimes I think it would be fun to do some projects that the frisco didn't have, like a racehorse PA/PB set, a E8B, and one I just thought of a racehorse F7 AB set.
This model is a benchmark custom paint and decal job! It shows what can be done if the model manufacturers don't release your favorite engine and/or number! Some of you HO-ers need to get in there and bid! If I were modeling in HO, this thing would be long gone...Modelers should save some of these pictures to aid in superdetailing! Tom
This is one of the exorbitantly overpriced Overland brass import racehorse models (Although an E-7) priced up there somplece in the "first-born child" price range and it absolutely doesn't look any better than the eBay model! Tom
Craig - FYI, there is what looks to be a nicely done 1st release custom painted P2K Frisco E8 done as SLSF 2015 on eBay. Fairly expensive, but a number you can't get elsewhere. I'd want to replace the w/s wipers and the oversize roof grabs, however. Ken
