I am Allen Barnett. My grandfather, his brothers and others from the family worked for the frisco from the mid 1920's thru the forties. I have found several doc.s and newswpaper posts concerning my relatives. It has been very interesting. Other relatives were named Glover and Schratz.My g'dad served his boilermaker apprenticeship at springfield and worked 7 years as 3rd class bm prior to that. His older brother was a machinist in st. louis.My dad was born in springfield and the family later moved to memphis. I am a 3rd generation boilermaker working in the construction industry out of the memphis local.Would like to have any info concerning any of the Barnetts or Glovers from north Mississippi, or the Schratzs from the st. louis/festus area.Thanks for this site and all the work that has gone into it.
