Hello all; my name is Mike, and I'm just getting back in to model railroading after a long absence. I had a train set which became a model RR all through primary school and into college. I had just started to get serious about modeling the Frisco when some catastrophic life events got in the way. I have a family member that retired from Frisco/BN after 40+ years, and have met many fine Frisco folk here around Springfield. My family moved to Thayer about a year after the acquisition was announced; I just vaguely remember the red/white diesels before they were all repainted. I have a handful or three of loco pics that I took at the Thayer yard during my teenage years(early 90s). At some point I will dig those out of storage and scan them in for uploading.
