    Howdy,

How many of you have downloaded the digitized FMIG newsletters uploaded by Dough Hughes?

I have downloaded all the posted FMIG NL's, even though I also have all of the originals as received back in the early 1980's. I figured it would be good to have them in digital form.

I've downloaded parts of the newsletters--I have many of them--I was a member of the FMIG for several years.

I have looked at some. Mostly from work, so don't want to download until home computer gets some problems fixed.

Although I have not actually downloaded the FMIG newsletters, I think that it is great to have that material on line as excellent reference material.

    A week later.....
I have now downloaded quite a few pages from the FMIG newsletters. My primary interests are passenger trains and passenger train operations, and I found quite an assortment of great passenger and Pullman information. The process (and TIME commitment) of scanning all those pages into digital format is very much appreciated.

The NMRA is starting to scan their extensive library collection thanks to donations from some great members. It will be interesting to watch and to see if any SL-SF related material is included.
