Edit 2/7/2024: Guthrie, OK is on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe (ATSF) Railway. It was not on or serviced by the Frisco.

Guthrie was the Oklahoma Territory first provisional capital.

The first image has the restored Frisco steam engine SLSF 1522, a 4-8-3 Mountain class engine passing the depot on an excursion train.

The locomotive is owned by the Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, MO. At the time it was being operated by the St. Louis Steam Train Association (SLSTA).

    Added clarification narrative.
