Hello everyone, I am an Oklahoma native who grew up in Durant, Oklahoma and remember the Frisco running through there as a kid. I currently model the MK&T because my grandfather actually took me on a Katy passenger train to Denison, Texas and back to Durant and I have been hooked ever since, even though I was just a wee lad. I also have Frisco and Rock Island locomotives and rolling stock on my layout due to the Oklahoma connection. Although I now live in CSX territory in Maryland, I still model these three roads and think of them fondly. I have searched mightily for the plans for the joint Katy - Frisco depot in Durant that was torn down in approximately 1985, but I do have some great pictures of it, as well as a brick from the station. If anyone knows where I might find the blueprints for that station, I would greatly appreciate it. I would actually like to build a model of it for the museum in my hometown. Thanks for running such a great website!

  2. Jim, by any chance did you take a picture of the MKT Ford by the depot?
    Thanks

I have not seen a floor plan for Durant, OK. I just recently scanned floor plans for all the Southwestern Division Depots and Durant was not listed.
