Grab Iron

I would like to add the large L shaped grabiron detail located on the front nose of a Frisco GP 7.
Is there a stock detail part for this or do you have to fabricate one?
Would a box car roof walk corner grab work here or is it too small?

 

Good question - would the same work for the E and F units as well?

 

You will have to make your own, there are none available that I know of for that part. I used brass wire, I do not remember what size.

 

The Detail Associates 229-6504 are too large, they measure 32"x32" (per package) I placed a scale rule on the model, I believe 24"x24" would do the trick
