Another period PTT, 11-1911, lists several Frisco Agencies in the downtown KC area. Mr. E. F. Edgecomb, Commercial Agent, was quartered at the Board of Trade Building. The Main Passenger Agency had its office in the Waldheim Bldg, which was located at 11th and Main. Division Passenger Agent, Mr. J. C. Lovrien, Traveling Passenger Agents, Mssrs. S. E. Oldham and W. C. Melville, and City Ticket Agent, Mr. C. L. Whitsett were quartered here. Mr. L. S. Banks served as the Depot Agent at the Union Depot. I believe that freight-only business was conducted from the Board of Trade office.
Anyone else see this photo on Shorpy yesterday? http://www.shorpy.com/node/24159 I can look right above my computer monitors at work and see how the Frisco incorporated this picture, at least into the 1980 wall calendar. Scroll down in the Shorpy post for the image that was also used in this calendar (don't have a camera device at work right now): https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1980-frisco-wall-calendar-460509999 Best Regards,
Very neat! The phot0 has a Burlington logo and a map of Ohio on the wall over the young man's left shoulder. All very interesting detail to try to understand.
