I bought two which will be a great addition to my Frisco bis and tris along with other railroad auto racks. I have loaded some of them with Classic Metals 1978 Chevrolet Impalas and some with Atlas 1978 Ford Fairmonts on the tri-levels and General Motors light trucks on the bi-levels. Those loaded with the Impalas are very heavy, but when placed immediately behind the engine, they tracked very well. If you interested in them, you should probably order yours as they are disappearing from MB Klein where I bought mine. Terry
I ordered mine from MBK too. Should arrive in the next couple days. I'll have to start hunting down late 1970's cars which will be a challenge.
Are these new numbers, cause I bought 3 quite some tome ago? At the show today, I bought a Broadway Limited Frisco Consolidaded today with Rolling Thunder I've only run it a short time, but wow, what a great engine. Question, This is my first smoker, can you just use mineral oil or do you need to get the real stuff? Incidently, Tom made me some loads, they are excellent, I picked up a Katy Gon and the junk load fits like a glove and looks as real as it gets.
What auto racks you bought some time ago were bi-level. This new run is three tri-leveis and should have new numbers correct for them.
