    Hello All,

I have received permission from the Powers to produce a mouse pad like my S.A.F&N/S.A.&A.P. pad for Frisco.org. Great news after a few have approached me to make a custom pad for the organization. I am proud to do it.

Here is what the base pad will look like:

    Frisco.org.jpg

I'm working on a simple link for you to view all the pads available and buy from there. More to come.

Manny, this looks like a nice design. Hopefully your poll will identify a clear cut choice for the winning middle image, whether it is steam, diesel, or other.

    Yes,

I need designs for the middle. Please submit your pictures.

    Categories:

    1. Best STEAM
    2. Best DIESEL
    3. Best Non-motive power

Once all submissions are given, there will be another thread created to vote on the categories. The winners will be selected from there.

The pads will be produced. You will pay the price of the pad and shipping only.

    POST THEM PICS!!!!

To me, the two most obvious steam locomotives to pick from would be 1522 and 4500.

For diesels, any of the E units with the gold/cream pinstripes or a black/yellow F3.

The third possibility would be most likely a caboose.

Steam: Firefly because it was so unique to the frisco (yes others had streamlined steam, but none to my knowledge looked like the firefly)
Diesel: E8 in factory delivery scheme. Or a diesel unique to the Frisco like the XR unit.
Non motive: Caboose, one that fits the frisco well. Like one of the home built 1400 or 1700 seires cabooses in either the plain bright red (not the brown) or the O&W diesel scheme.
Suggested 4th option a plain either red or black coonskin.

Here is a photo I think would work good for the firefly. Understand I AM NOT the owner of this photo. It is on Mike Condern's site so you would have to ask his permission.

    NO,

Not those folks. I'm talking about the folks here at Frisco.org. I am not making this for public sale. This is for members of the board only, and not for public sale. No license is needed since this product is NOT being made available to the general public. Also, this is not being made for a profit. I will not profit off this one penny. No license is required for personal/non-sale use. Production of this mouse pad should be covered under the organization of Frisco.org. I do respect BNSF, but do not see the need within the parameters that the pad is being offered.

Excellent! Thanks Richard! If anyone has more, please post up. B/W and color are both fine! The more pictures, the better the choice for y'all to select BEST STEAM, DIESEL, AND NON-MOTIVE POWER. There will be three pads designed, and you'll be able to choose your own pad. Keep up the great work!

Also, if there are any modelers who have represented the Frisco well, and wish to submit their work, please do! If you want a personalized pad made up, I am willing to do them for you.

This is a lot of fun, and a way I can help my Frisco community.

Voting will take place in separate threads. I appreciate everyone's support. I will work to keep this at the top of the home page for the next 14 days. I know that there are plenty of favorite shots of our beloved Frisco. Please continue to bring them forward. I, and I am sure many of you, want each of these to be special! Maybe I'll do a new pad each year with a different shot. Kind of like a keep sake. This is way too fun. Keep up the work guys. C'mon. Post up them pics!

My pick for the steam choice:

For diesel, I like the "Racehorse" E8s. For "Other", why not one of the Frisco coonskin variations?
