From Richard Crabtree on Frisco Rails Across Missouri:
It is 1937 and the Boys at the Frisco West Shops in Springfield, Missourihave been busy! Here is there least creation a semi-streamlined Frisco Hudson Class 4-6-4 No. 1062. On June 30th 1937 the Locomotive was to make her maiden run from Springfield to Kansas City pulling train No. 104. She reportedly could do 100mph, tracks were better shape back then.
Articles; SGF Leader June 30th 1937

    Karl Brand:
The first five ( 1062, 1064, 1065, 1066, & 1069 ) of the 4-6-4 type locomotives were built to replace the 1500’s on 105 and 106. Down in the Arkansas Delta, crews were known to make up lost time.

Frisco Power has a nice photo of #1067 pulling #806, the northbound "Memphian" into SE Junction. It's a pretty good look.
