Frisco Safety Trophy in plaster

    Now on ebay, a real oddity. Here is the description:

    ST. LOUIS - SAN FRANCISCO RAILWAY FRISCO RAILROAD PLASTER CAST TROPHY

    This is from a closed trophy business

    I believe it is a plaster casting from a Trophy the business made for the railroad

    Prefer local pickup but will ship to the Great 48

    Tampa Bay Florida

    It is dirty / dusty / bug stuff on it

    Oddity indeed. If not for the prime mover being hoisted in the upper left, I would have guessed this was a pre-war item. Everything else about it has the look and feel of something I'd expect to see in a mid-1920s edition of the FEM.
