OK I got another question. I was researching the FRISCO during the 1940's and somewhere I seen where the FRISCO had a passenger bus that ran somewhere in Southeast Kansas. I can't seem to find it and like an idiot I didn't bookmark the page. Can anyone provide me with info and pics about this service?
    Thanks!

If you have a passenger timetable of the era (you're interested in), there's usually a footnote and symbol on the schedule where bus service connects with the trains. Usually around a military base like Ft. Wood. Sorry I don't have a timetable handy at the moment.

  3. I've seen the picture on the add in Frisco in Color. But are there any other photographs of the Frisco buses?
    Ship it on the Frisco!!!

There was a photo here on this chat board, but I don't know where it is or how to link it--Anybody else remember that photo?

This isn't the one I was thinking of, but here's an FTC bus (destination Miami, OK) loading at Neosho, MO.

Here's a Frisco Trailways Bus photo that I believe was posted earlier on this chat board, but I don't know any of the details.

The Frisco First newspaper for July 1938 contained information on the first trips of Frisco Transportation Company buses, as well as a photo of the first bus. The Frisco bus operations were a part of the Trailways system (i.e.-Frisco Trailways) from 1945 until 1960. Did Frisco Trailways ever issue a separate bus timetable, much as was issued by Missouri Pacific Trailways, Burlington Trailways or Santa Fe Trailways?

Bill--Carl Loucks the timetable dealer in CT might be able to furnish some information on the Frisco Trailways. He frequently lists bus schedules and timetables in his newsletters.
