This map was a sales brochure aimed at businesses that may consider purchasing land with Frisco rail service.

Keith, this map looks very similar in style to one that I have for Chaffee. I thought I had posted it, but I cannot find it anywhere. I'll have to find the hard copy and scan.

Whatever the era, my guess is that the Frisco was pushing hard to entice online customers.

    Best Regards,

Any idea on date of the document? Looks to be before the Frisco General Office Building was built which I think was 1964(??). Also before the US 65 by-pass.

Tom, it appears that this was published before 3M built their plant on land parcel #10. Directly from 3M's website; "3M Springfield began operations in 1967".

If I am not mistaken, the Frisco's Office Building was also built on parcel #10, so that parcel was divided.

Yes, the Frisco General Office Building (commonly referred to as the GOB) was built on the southwest corner of parcel #10. The building is now owned by a business belonging to one of the members of this forum.
