Yeah, another branch of the FRISCO lives on... As the Aussies would say "good on ya, mate".

Frisco is now in the fruit express business leasing cars with rivals Union Pacific and Southern Pacific (in my world they are still seperate railroads). You can see more pics at my spot http://www.railimages.com/gallery/howardbiby

You have to wonder what could have been if the Frisco had not have went belly up to the Burlington Northern. I like that first picture of the o/w Frisco diesel, it looks like it means business!

You might want to add just a little touch of rust powdered chalk to the vent covers, trucks, couplers, gas tank, and on the white background part to make it look like it had been out in the rain. The O/W diesels I remember always had rust running down the sides right through the white backgrounds.

Your more modern Frisco SD's look great. This is just the kinda stuff I am migrating to. My plan is to have some modern QA&P stuff as well. The only thing I see missing is some modern QA&P rolling stock:D
You did a fine job of weathering these models, I try to make the trucks weathered very heavily and most models need more light colors, on screens and especially closer to the rail on either end of the trucks where the high horse units would use allot of sand the keep the wheel slip down, and adhesion high.
The tops of units almost never get washed and if an inductor tube was plugged they would be very oily. Unfortunatly, we have very few "roofer madness" pictures of SLSF engines. The sides and walkways get washed or sprayed with soap and rinsed every 92 days whether they need it or not:D
This is not only to keep them clean but more importantly to keep the FRA from tagging them for oil on walkways, which sometimes could land the carrier with a fine.
    Great Job I say,
    Tom
