    The Mobile and Gulf was a shortline logging railroad running south from a connection with the Southern RR at Fayette, AL to a connection with the GM&O at Buhl, AL. It was the last US common carrier to operate steam (M&G 97 was retired on Aug. 22, 1970).

    Here's a photo I found on that site of M&G 97 pulling a FRISCO gondola. I wonder if it got there from Reform on the GM&O to Buhl? (20 miles from Reform to Buhl) - Brandon
