Frisco doorknob

    Howdy. The attached photo is an iron doorknob from the 1880s or 1890s that has the Frisco logo. I'm guessing it was used in a prominent depot somewhere along the line, as the cost to make these custom knobs required a quantity be ordered. The seller was from St. Louis but did not know the origin. Might any of y'all have info about where this knob was used? There is a different iron knob that was used in the Frisco office building in St. Louis, which did not use the logo. Thanks. Frisco.JPG

    Their probably, was several places, but Vinita, Ok had a set similar. I always wanted it, too bad you don't have the whole assembly, it was very neat. The one at Vinita was Brass, said St Louis San Fransisco.
