Really enjoy the Frisco artwork. The F unit freight rolling by the depot and the Seabiscuit in the trainshed... are those commissioned paintings or can lithographs of them be found ocassionally?

Yes, the Frisco prints are really neat.

See the earlier postings in this thread for ideas on how to possibly get a copy of the 2013 "Sea Biscuit" print in the StLUS trainshed. In particular, see Tom's posting. That print is my all-time favorite Frisco print, and it hangs above my desk in my office. I bought it from the former Frisco Museum, and my wife had it framed for me.

The pic of F3 SLSF 5016 is a Jelsma Graphics print based on the Johnnie Gray picture taken at Holly Springs, Mississippi. It was printed in Joe Collias' book "The Search for Steam" on page 304. On page 305 is a pic of the tail end of the same train, with SLSF 144 bringing up the rear. As far as I know, Jelsma stilll offers that print, along with several other Frisco prints. Do a Google search to get their web page.

Another Jelsma I like is of the Texas Special behind SLSF 2000 at Valley Park, Mo with a MoPac Eagle in the distance behind an E6.

Thanks Ken! I'll have to do a bit of investigation.

Hmmm... wonder if the wifey would mind a "Frisco motif" in the living room? :D
