Image and quoted from Richard Crabtree in Facebook post: Here is Frisco Engine No.57 in the 1890's just north of Springfield, Missouri. This 4-4-0 American class, was built in 1878 by Hinkley in Boston, Massachusetts . This photo was taken sometime around 1898-1902 possibly some where between Springfield, Missouri and Bolivar, Missouri. If you look close on the derrick you will notice the lettering as KCOS - This homemade derrick belonged originally to the Kansas City, Osceola & Southern Railroad. The engine was scrapped on April 17th. 1914.
