The back reads SL-SF No. 184, 4-4-0, Fuel: Oil, Taken: Columbus '33 by Marshall D Sage
The position of the driver wheels is close to the Bachmann Spectrum 4-4-0.
Would it be safe to say that this was in Columbus KS?
It could be Columbus, MS. Check the name of the road parallel to the railroad track!
My bet is Kansas. Those little engines were used quite a bit on the Kansas lines. Oil burnes also used over there.
Page 93 of Frisco Power, second edition shows a 1940 R. J. Foster photo of 184 in Memphis and further mentions use of the rebuilt 4-4-0's on "...an Amory, Mississippi to Pensacola, Florida, schedule."
