Mile Post 129 on Dixon Hill.

It is a small community of perhaps a dozen homes named after a Frisco employee named Frank who worked there. His job was to control switches for the two passing sidings there, reduced to one after the 1945 hill regrading.

I think the remaining passing siding was removed about 10 years ago. There was a country store there during the 1950-1970s that featured monthly music parties on Saturday nights.

The parties, by invitation only, were even taped for a TV show once. The store burned sometime in the 1980s.

These photographs are from an earlier structure, I think.
