I think it is time to retire my first run Bachmann Spectrum locos. Not sure they are worth fixing. The first to go was one of my Decapods. Motor seized up. I send it in under their life-time warranty since they still offer this model. Now one of my Mountains is starting to have motor issues. And the other has a tender frame issue. I could use the lifetime warranty. Not sure they have the parts to fix Mountains anymore. My Spectrum heavy weight passenger cars are plagued with zinc rot. The cast metal trucks are just falling apart. (Makes me wonder how many other cast metal parts out there are going to start to crumble apart). I have or had a few of the Atlas N scale Pacifics made by Rivarossi that have the frames just crumbled apart. Also making space for the BLI 1500s. I hope they do the 1526.
