    Folks -
While it's not Frisco, many of the photos on this site show scenes that could very well be from Frisco territory. Enjoy.

This is excellent modeling and photograpy! The attention to detail, photo backdrop to give it realistic depth and proper weathering and aging is something to strive for no matter what road you model.

Chris, Thank you for this. I just really love looking at this kind of modeling.
Sure could be Frisco territory - even has the correct name 'Trumansberg'.
Isn't that just east of KC? (tongue in cheek)

Agreed, excellent use of all aspects of modeling scenes. I especially like his use of the photo backdrop. It's nearly impossible to determine that most of the scenes are less than 2' deep.

Eye-popping modeling. This fellow has great skills and superhuman patience. Thanks for showing this to us.

    Those are great photos!

If you want to see another mind-blowing guy, check these albums out. He posts a lot of impressive videos on Facebook too. I like the black and white stuff. Unreal!

There are a couple of guys who post on the Model Railroader site, Model Railroad Hobbyist or Big Blue/The Gauge who are really good:

    The above mentioned Jon Grant

    Tom Johnson (INRAIL): http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/8934

Charlie, I'm already eagerly looking at Jon Grant's pre-war freight cars album. And Gary, I'm glad you also included the link to Tom Johnson's photo album. His use of backdrops and the scenery give me something for which to aim in my modeling efforts.

    Best Regards,
