I found three sets of Detail Associates detail parts that EMD cab unit diesel modelers and detailers should be interested in - these are packs of stainless steel photo etched cab side air intake grills. Each set is unopened, in original Detail Associates pack, mint condition. There are two complete grills in each packet. I looked them all up in the Walthers catalog tonight, and was surprised to see they are each out of stock, or discontinued. They are excellent stampings, so that surprises me. See pic. The grills are as follows: - Detail Associates Grill set GR-2704 (229-2704), side air intake grill for F7A cab units. Two grills, the F7A fabricated grill, correct length, original cost was $3.50. - Detail Associates Grill set GR-2705 (229-2705), side air intake grill for F7B booster units. Two grills, the F7B fabricated grill, correct length, original cost was $3.50. - Detail Associates Grill set GR-2701 (229-2701), side air intake grill for EMD F and E units, Farr intake grill used by F9 and E9 units, cut to correct length, original cost was $6.00.
