I continue in my endeavour to figure out the construct of Frisco steam engine oil bunkers. I have written to the library in the hope there may have been some general arrangement drawings saved. I have also begun collecting photos as I come across them in the hope they will unveil some new data, I have included some photos in the hope someone's memory may be triggered to uncover some data of some sort. My goal is to construct an O scale oil bunker for a QAP/Frisco decapod. Some of my photos are included

Pat, I posted some photos of the bunker on my 1522 model on the previous thread about oil bunkers. Did you see them?

Yes frisco1522, I saw those threads and I appreciate the post. It gave me some good ideas about the style of oil tank filler.

    Pat,

Thank you for posting the oil bunker detail photographs.

    Tom,

The photograph of SLSF 1021 shows it ready to depart from the Springfield Depot. It it headed east, about to cross N. Main St. and head down W. Mill St.

The power plant in the distance above the locomotive sits just south of W. Phelps Ave. It is operated by the Springfield City Utilities. Like Mill St., Phelps Ave also had tracks down the street to serve multiple industries on each side of the road. These streets are a great area to model in a relatively small space if you love industry switching and architecture.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Mark
