Back in April 2009 when I was working on initial restoration of Frisco caboose 1157 in Sand Springs OK, a gentleman happened along that informed us (incorrectly) that she was a drovers caboose. I checked on this with a wonderful lady by the name of Renee Glass at thelibrary.org and she sent me the information from "All Onboard" concerning the creation of the Less-Than-Carload 1157 (and sister cars) from 40' boxcars. That satisfied me until today. Now that I know the general configuration of an actual drovers caboose, it leads me to the, hopefully, last question. Since I haven't yet figured out how to research using the new tool -Library, I'll ask; Did the Frisco ever own, operate lease or otherwise run a 'drovers' caboose?
